Procedure

Next you want to make a procedure. The procedure is a step-by-step list that anyone can follow to duplicate your experiment. Your descriptions of the steps should be concise and complete. It is like you are writing a recipe for your experiment. You can't leave any steps out or your experiment might not work. This was my procedure:

  1. Prepare bowl of whipped cream with 0 tsp. of gelatin
  2. Prepare another bowl of whipped cream with 1 tsp. of gelatin.
  3. Prepare 2 more bowls with 2 tsp. and 3 tsp. of gelatin.
  4. Have Dad, James, and Jaxon taste whipped cream.
  5. Record their ratings.
  6. Clean up.
So that how a procedure should look.
Okay so if I did one on my experiment it would be like this:

  1. Paint 1 finger with each different brand of nail polish.
  2. Next day, record how much chipped of on each finger.
  3. Repeat for 6 more days.
  4. Log results
Great job! Next lesson.
